Merci

Merci the kitty made the 16 hour trip from Chattanooga to Amherst just fine. For those of you who didn't know, I brought home the stray kitty that was living under the Schmidt's deck. She is very sweet & affectionate and is almost identical to my 2 year old Maine Coon, Surely. I will likley find a home for her as we have 3 cats already but for now, she is adjusting well to our home.

Soules fam- re: Joining this blog....

Hey Soules family-

I have re-sent several invitations to this blog that Randall so wonderfully set up back in February. If you did not receive the email invite or know someone who wants it please send me the email address and I will get them an invitation.

Only a few of us had joined in back in February.... but I am hoping that post reunion more of you will be inclined to take a few minutes and join blogger.com (if you Have not done so already) and will follow the link provded in the invitation to become a member of the family blog.

Then...you can post your own entries and even photos for us all to see. You can also, of course, comment on other people's entries.

It is all quiet user friendly, but if you get stuck, give a holla.

ALSO: if you have your own blog or web page you want linked from the family blog (ie: so readers can click to it directly from the Soules Blog) please email me the link info and I will add it to the right hand sidebar.

And yes, Baird & I are all back safely along with the adorable Maine Coon type kitty (now named Merci) that I "rescued" from the Chattanooga streets :-) She looks like a mini replica of my 2 year old Maine Coon!
She survived 16 hours in her little crate, including a van shuttle, airplane and car ride. Merci seems quite happy and is gradually making friends with our dog and other cats.

I'll post more pics later!!

Post Reunion Post

I just wanted to say I really enjoyed the last few days with you all. I must say we packed in a lot of activities into four days. I'm coming away from this experience with many fun memories and I feel like I have gotten to know a lot of you much more than I ever did in the past. Thank you everyone for making this such a wonderful reunion. Hopefully we can use the blog to keep more in touch with each other than before. Blessings to all of you, Andrea
